Lee was our special little man as previously we tried IVF without success, so he was a lovely
surprise.
We found out on his 20 week scan he had heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. To
top if off at birth he had a cleft problem but we loved him regardless.
He was was such a fighter and a happy baby we miss him loads.
God bless him xxx

I am leaving this poem for all the brave little angels our there who fought their hardest to stay with their families who loved them so much ....
A BRAVE WARRIOR
Before this world had started
Before our lives began
God assigned us all our challenges
Some hard things to withstand
Each of us were given
Some difficult things to do
But God gave his bravest warriors
An extra burden too
So you came to this earth in a body
Broken and quite ill
But life could never take from you
A solid, determined will
You kept your face turned toward the sunshine
Trapped in a body that only knew rain
And chose to see the joys in life
In spite of all the pain
And though your body was oft' connected
To needles, machines and tubes
You bravely faced each day with them
While expressing gratitude
For the chance of simply being here
Though to us it didn't seem fair
To see someone as special as you
Suffer in a body beyond repair
So when you'd honorably completed
Every trial you were assigned
God chose to bring you back to him
Freeing your bright spirit and mind

More than you will ever know.

The day you left broke our hearts
and the tears fell like rain,
but knowing that you now have wings
helps to ease the pain.

We know now when the snow falls
it is Angel dust from you
and when we see a shooting star
our Angel just passed through.

The rain drops do not make us sad
for they are not tears,
but sprinkles of love falling down,
our Angel again is near.

The winter cold has even changed,
Jack Frost no longer exists,
it's now a visit from our Angel
and he's left a special gift.

You also visit in the night,
your wings flutter with grace,
we know now when we awaken

When the days are warm and bright

Of the short time you were here.

A Birthday In Heaven - Author Unknown
I heard you crying yesterday,
And felt your heart-sent love.
So I’m sending you this message
Now, from Heaven up above.
You’re wondering if I’ll celebrate
My birthday (way up here).
I know you’re missing me today
I feel your essence near.
God planned a special day for me,
He told me with a wink.
He’d ordered me a special cake
(It’s Angel food, I think).
Balloons will fill the streets for me,
They float up through the clouds.
And we have lots of friends up here
That make us laugh out loud.
There is a birthday carousel,
Jewelled horses ride the wind,
With music playing, oh so sweet…
The magic never ends.
I’ve made so many friends, you see
